KATHUA, June 2: One person was injured seriously after he was hit by a gun shot mysteriously in a mango orchard in village Barwal of Kathua district late last night.
He has been identified as Dinesh Singh, son of Ramesh Singh of Chak Ramchand near Barwal. He had gone to the mango orchard late last night but suddenly he was hit by a gun shot under mysterious circumstances on his leg.
He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Kathua by his family members where after giving first aid he was referred to GMCH Jammu in a serious condition. The Kathua police is investigating the matter and has registered an FIR under Number 273/21 under Section 337 & 3/25 Arms Act. However, No one has been arrested yet.
