SAMBA, Oct 29: Mystery shrouds the death of a young house wife whose body was found in the jungle of village Devika Sumb in Samba district early this morning by villagers.
The slain has been identified as Kanta Devi, wife of Subash Kumar of Devika. As per reports the body bore some wounds on her neck and face.
The reports said that the lady was missing from her residence since last night and in the morning the villagers after seeing the body in jungle informed the Samba police.
Soon a police team reached the jungle and took the body in its custody. The police after getting the postmortem of the body conducted at District Hospital Samba handed over it to the family members for last rites.
The Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigations but no arrest has been made so far.
