‘Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke’ staged in Natrang’s Sunday Theatre

JAMMU, Apr 29: Children Play ‘Na Ghar Ke; Na Ghat Ke’, directed by Neeraj Kant, was presented by Natrang during its Sunday Theatre series at its Studio today.
The play opens at the home of lead character of the story ‘Gopi’, who is all alone in his home as his parents have gone out for work. As his mother has left some rice flour cookies for him as breakfast, he is very tempted because of that being his favourite dish and he also feeling very hungry. He wants to gulp all in one go but to his dismay, his friend Pinki comes to disrupt him. He hides the cookies and makes some silly excuse to get rid of her. He could not even cherish his success when Bablu, his another friend, comes to disturb him and he also makes him leave home very soon. The moment he was to about to finish his hunger by eating his choicest breakfast that his friend Deepu enters and he hides the the cookies in a flowerpot and encounters her by telling that he has just finished his breakfast and that now his stomach was full. On this Deepu reveals that she had brought some very delicious dishes for him considering that he might be hungry. Ashamed of his greed Gopi was left with no choice but to repent. So the play teaches tobe truthful else one may have to bear the losses.
Gopi Sharma played as Gopi, Sachin Saini as Bablu, Kritika Bhau as Pinki, Deepshikha as Deepu and Chander Partap as Chachu and all impressed the select audience. Lights were operated by Neeraj Kant. Balwinder Singh operated the music. Mohd Yaseen coordinated the show and Sumeet Sharma ably introduced the show before the audience.
