POONCH, Dec 17: NABARD, J&K, inaugurated the programme for Women of Self Help Groups (WSHGs), here today.
Launching, Government of India programme for promotion of women SHGs in Poonch district, S C Rabra, CGM, NABARD, J&K, in the presence of Assistant District Development Commissioner, Poonch, officials from line departments functioning in the district/bank official besides members of women SHGs, said that it will bring out a viable and self sustainable model for promotion and financing of Women Self Help Groups by involving an anchor NGO in each of the selected 150 backward districts of the country.
This programme has been launched by NABARD in Poonch district through NGO Jamola Mehru Yuva Kendra, Rajouri, in coordination with the lead Bank Manager and District Development Manager, Poonch/ Rajouri.
