AKHNOOR, Dec 29: On the occasion of 358th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a massive Nagar Kirtan was organised here today.
The Nagar Kirtan organised under the chairmanship of Jammu DGPC member Surjit Singh, started from Gurdwara Singh Sabha village Batehra via Bawa Talab to Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar, Dayaran.
It was attended by the Sangat from Block Bhalwal, Madh and nearby areas including Gurdwaras Mishriwala, Jangwari, Purkhoo, Pandorian, Dabban, Gajansoo, Simblian, Chaffer Chak, Kahna Chak, Dayaran and Batehra.
Among others who attended the Nagar Kirtan included MLA Sham Lal Sharma, ex-MLA Ajay Sadhotra, Karan Singh Wazir, Bharat Bhushan, Mohinder Singh (ex-DGPC member), Kulwant Singh, Rajinder Singh (Retired Head Master), Prem Singh (Retired Captain), Gurdev Singh, Balwant Singh, Gulchain Singh and Mohinder Singh.
