UDHAMPUR, Nov 19: Sikh Sangat of Udhampur today took out an impressive traditional Nagar Kirtan in the town in connection with the upcoming 555nd Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Sikh Sangat, including ladies and youths, took out the impressive Nagar Kirtan, which passed from Ramnagar Chowk, Hospital Road, Salian Talab, Chabutra Bazar, Main Bazaar and streets of the town before culminating at Subhash Stadium.
Panj Piyare of Guru, fully decorated in traditional attire, were leading the Nagar Kirtan, which was taken out under the patronage of Shree Gurudawara Singh Sahib. Youth exhibited the traditional martial arts of Baba Deep Singh Akhada.
The town was fully decorated and people had arranged fruits and sweets for Sangat at many places. Sangat recited the Kirtan and also distributed Prashad among the public.
