Nagbanians remember Maharaja Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 21: MHAC School, Nagbani paid rich tribute to its founder father, Maharaja Hari Singh on the occasion of his birthday. It was a joyous moment for Nagbani family to remember the Maharaja.
The school premises were decorated and well illuminated. The grand ceremony commenced with the offering of floral tribute to Maharaja’s idol by Capt Dewan Singh, Principal, Alok Betab and all the staff members. This auspicious moment was also used to inaugurate the EPBAX system, CCTV cameras and common PA system for all classrooms which have been recently installed in the school.
The special guests were the students from Shri Ram Chander Memorial Trust Orphan School and Samaj Kalyan Kendra (Orphans) School, who were served a lavish breakfast after which they participated in Hawan. The chanting of Mantras made the environment pious and calm. This was followed by melodious Bhajans sung by the staff members.
The function was marked by scintillating and heart rendering address by Capt Dewan Singh, wherein he dwelled upon various facets of eventful life of Maharaja. The programme concluded with the prayers to rest Maharaja’s soul in peace in heaven.
Meanwhile, the staff and students of Global Convent Higher Secondary School also paid rich tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh on his 115th birth anniversary.
Speaking on the occasion, principal of the school, J Gandotra, threw light on the life of Maharaja Hari Singh.
