Nagbatna residents demand posting of doctor in dispensary

JAMMU, May 30: The residents of Nagbatna Kishtwar are facing many hardships due to lack of medicare facilities as the authorities have failed to post the doctor in Ayurvedic Dispensary in Nagbatna till date.
Despite the repeated pleas by the people of the area the authorities did not bother to post the doctor in the dispensary with the result the people suffering from various ailments are facing many hardships in getting the proper treatment.
The people of the area have approached to every one at the helm of affairs right from Minster of Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat to other officers of both ISM and Health Services but to no avail, said Raj Kumar a local resident.
In an appeal to Government the people have once again demanded that the doctor be posted in the area immediately failing which they will come to streets.
Meanwhile Congress leader and member civil society Kishtwar Shamsher Singh Bhandari said that not only Nagbatna but other hospitals and dispensaries in the Kishtwar are with out doctors and para medical staff and Government has failed to post the doctors there. He said even some posts of doctors are vacant in D H Kathua and the Department is not bothering to fill up them
