Nagrota still crying for development: Wazir

NAGROTA, Dec 18: Bahujan Samaj Party State general secretary and candidate Nagrota Assembly constituency Rakesh Wazir while addressing public at Kanyala falling in Nagrota segment said that against the claimed developmental wonders done and the promises of making of Noida and London to Nagrota in speeches of all the others leaders were found quite contrary to the situation on the ground.
Wazir said that the poor inhabitants were still drinking dirty water from the ponds and the ditches, power cut off  for the days together, toilet less poor accommodation  and open- air Government schools, very poor and unfit roads and bridges network and the poor health facilities in this 21st century are galore in Nagrota constituency.
The high cruelty wonders, instead had been observed on ground there. The freely snatching of lands from the poor for the National Highway construction with the nominal compensation as compared to rates offered across the Jawahar Tunnel.
The BSP leader said that all this made the people of Nagrota landless and jobless at the time of engaging 5000 men of outside the State as labours on the Matinal Highway project, ignoring the local youth from work and also by uprooting the years old enroute famous Vaishnodevi markets of Nandini, Suketer, Jajjir Kotli and Manthal without providing them the alternate lands or the jobs. The Nagrota people had not so for been provided for their flood damaged houses and instead stopped from repairing their own houses on the ground of the Army restrictions, added the BSP leader.
