JAMMU, Apr 15: The Vigilance Organization has booked a Naib Tehsildar and Patwari among three persons for fraudulently changing Khasra Girdawari of State land.
The vigilance verifications revealed that Riaz Ahmed, the then Patwari Halqa Hakkal, Satwari, Jammu, created earlier non existent khasra measuring 25 kanals situated at Village Surya Chak adjoining to the existing Khasra in the original record of Nakal Khasra Paimash to confer undue benefit to Vijay Kumar of Beli Charana.
In furtherance of the conspiracy, Riaz Ahmed in connivance with Subash Chander, the then Niab Tehsildar, Record Room, Jammu, and others, changed the Khasra Girdawari of this State land in the records of Record Room. The said Patwari also entered Girdawari in favour of beneficiary Vijay Kumar for the land.
By abuse of his official position in a conspired manner with Vijay Kumar and other, Patwari Riaz Ahmed manipulated the revenue record of Khasra No1 & 35 situated at village Daulat Chak measuring 11 kanals each of State land and of Khasra No 411, 414, 417, (new) situated at village Ganeshu Chak measuring 10 & 50 kanals respectively, of State land for conferring undue benefit upon the said Vijay Kumar.
Following the investigation, case FIR has been registered in Vigilance Organization, under Section 5(1) (d) read with 5(2) of J&K PC Act Svt 2006 and Sections 467, 468, 471 & 120-B RPC on the prima facie establishment of offences against the accused.
