JAMMU, June 29: Deputy Commissioner Anantnag today placed Naib-Tehsildar Pahalgam under suspension for allegedly leaving the station without permission, thus sabotaging the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
An order issued in this context read, “Ovais Amir, Naib-Tehsildar Pahalgam is hereby placed under suspension for leaving the station without proper permission and sabotaging the ongoing SANJY-2024.”
Meanwhile, the DC Anantnag has ordered that SDM Kokernag shall enquire into the matter of the non-compliance of the Naib-Tehsildar and the suspended officer shall remain attached with his office during the period of his suspension.
