JAMMU, Mar 26: The Jagti township inmates in a meeting today have demanded that the park in the township be named as martyr Deepak Thusso Park who laid down his life while fighting the dreaded terrorists in Kupwara recently.
The meeting while terming Thusso a valiant cop said that he was a daredevil person who was always ready to take on challenges. It said the father of the martyr was also a police officer who too died in harness during eighties. The meeting also demanded that the martyr be recommended for a Gallantry Award by the State Government.
