JAMMU, June 16: Nami Dogri Sanstha organised a poetic meet at Sewa Bharti, Ved Mandir, Jammu, here today.
K L Dewana presided over the meet, wherein the poets who recited their poems were Randhir Singh Raipuria, Sat Paul Raina, M S Kamra, Rajeshwar Bhakhri, Sham Talib, Dogra Harish Kaila, Yash Paul ”Yash”, Parvinder Singh ”Pali”, Mrs Raj Kumari Sehgal, K K Shakir and Shambhu Ram ”Pyasa”.
K L Dewana in his presidential address appreciated the role of Nami Dogri Sanstha for promoting the Dogri art, culture and languages. Yash Paul ”Yash” general secretary compeered the program and the presented vote of thanks.
Harish Kaila, president, Nami Dogri Sanstha said that the main aim of Sanstha is to work for the development of the Dogri culture and Folklore of the entire Duggar Pradesh.
