JAMMU, Sep 4: Apni Party provincial president, women wing, Jammu, Namrta Sharma has demanded rollback of the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG.
Addressing the women workers at the Party office, Namrta said, “The rollback of prices of petrol, diesel and LPG will help in controlling the sudden price rise of essential commodities which have overburdened the people of Jammu and Kashmir”.
She said the COVID situation has imbalanced the economic condition with many lost their jobs as the business was down. “At the time when the financial condition worsened, the price rise has broken the backbone of the middle class, lower middle class and poor families which are unable to fulfill daily requirements,” added Namrta.
Namrta further said that the Government should take immediate steps to control the price rise and punish the black marketers. She said the Apni Party will not keep silent over the injustice with the people and it will keep highlighting their suffering.
Provincial women wing vice presidents Pavneet Kour and Jyoti Vaid, provincial women wing secretaries–Parvinder Kour, Rajni Kumari, Meenakshi, Parveen Kour, Suman Sharma, provincial women wing district coordinator Sarabjeet Kour and district secretary Sunita Kumari were also present on the occasion.
