JAMMU, May 28: Nand Bab Maha Yagya was organized by Nand Bab Asthapan Committee and Biradari of Seer Jagir Sopore, Kashmir with enthusiasm and religious fervour at Akalpur Morh, near Vishwa Bharti Colony, here today.
The yagya began with first suhakar in the evening yesterday and culminated after five suhakars with puran ahuti and maha bhog today.
The yagya was attended by a large number of devotees, who were busy in bhajans, kirtans and allied activities during the day, which smacked blissful feeling among all of them.
The devotees were served water, fruits and other items via chhabeels and stalls during the day.
Eloborate security arrangements were also made, helping the devotees enjoy, relish the occasion.
The yagya was organized under the supervision of Sri Krishan Raina, president Ashtapan Committee and Bihari Lal Raina, general secretary.
Similar, yagya was also held at Ajit Colony Gole Gujral which was organized by BL Tickoo, BN Jotshi, ML Pandita, BL Koul and Bhushan Malmohi.
