REASI, May 2: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Nanda convened a public redressal camp at Sangar Manjwa Ransoo here today.
A large number of people attended the camp and putforth their demands and problems which include electricity, ration supply, water, road connectivity and unemployment.
While addressing the people, the Minister said the Government is committed to provide improved basic amenities to the people at their doorsteps. He assured improvement in basic facilities like water, electricity, ration supply and roads in a phased manner. He instructed the concerned officers to mitigate the genuine demands and problems of the people on priority basis.
Nanda further said that Government would continue to facilitate social change in the State through viable and efficient welfare schemes. He said the Government would create better job opportunities for educated and skilled youth by generating an atmosphere of expanded economic activity.
The Minister exhorted upon the people to avail maximum benefit of centrally and state sponsored schemes.
