REASI, Dec 23: For addressing the problems and grievances faced by the people of Pouni area, Minister of State for Finance and Planning, IT, Law, Justice, CA&PD, Relief and Rehabilitation, Labour and Employment, Ajay Nanda today held a public grievances redressal camp at Dadooa Amb Chapri, Pouni.
ACD Reasi M Y Malik, Executive Engineer PHE, Ashok Sharma, Tehsildar, Munshi Ram, Block Development Officer, Mohammad Aftab and other district and sectoral officers besides general public were present on the occasion.
People apprised the Minister about the issues pertaining to drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, education and maintenance of various roads.
They also put forth the demand for a Government Degree College and ITI at Pouni besides informing the MoS about the shortage of staff in various schools.
The MoS gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the people and issued on spot directions to the concerned departments to resolve them at the earliest.
Nanda assured the people that the Government is committed to provide all the basic facilities to the people of remote and far-flung villages.
