JAMMU, Apr 14: The displaced Kashmiri Pandits organized a Maha Yagya with immense reverence and devotion dedicated to Shri Nandraaz Ji (Nundkeshwar Bhairav) on the occasion of Vaishak’s commencement in the capital city of Jammu, for the welfare of Sanatan dharma.
The two-day long Yagya was organized by Shri Nandraaz Prabandik Trust Ashmuji at Swami Mahesh Bharti Ashram in Lower Roopnagar, starting on Purnamashi and concluding on Baisakhi.
Over 300 members of the village Bharadari, along with their extended families, participated in Navidham bhooj.
Amidst the chanting of mantras and shlokas, the Yagya, presided over by Guru Pran Nath , was organized to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity of the community under the astute blessing of Bhairavnath Nandraaz Ji.
A soulful Bhajan Sandhya was organized by Hari Kirtan Adhyatmik Jagriti Mission under the leadership of its president, Dr J N Raina, with devotional singing performance by Basant and Shuban Raina. The atmosphere resonated with spiritual energy as devotees swayed and danced with joy to the melodious recitation of Shlokas and Bhajans, fully immersed in the divine ambiance.
Postcard pictures of revered Shri Nandraaz Ji and Mata Shiva Bhagwati were distributed among devotees.
The Committee, headed by Ramesh Bhat, decided to hold the Yagya and initiate the construction process for a temple and Bhawan dedicated to the deity Shri Nandraaz Ji. General secretary, Sanjay Bhat pledged to advance the mission.
