JAMMU, Apr 19: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH) celebrated its 6th anniversary today.
In this connection, a function was held at Sanjeevani Auditorium. Governing Body member, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Dr Ashok Bhan was the chief guest on the occasion while Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB was the guest of honour.
The function was also attended by Navneet Bali, Regional Director, Narayana Health, Dr Gopal Sharma, CAO, SMVDNSH, Dr JP Singh, Clinical Director, SMVDNSH along with a host of senior management officials, doctors and staff of SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest said that highlighted that the association of Narayana and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Board has been very fruitful in providing quality health care at affordable rates in the region.
The CEO Shrine Board reiterated the continuous support of SMVDSB to the Hospital and how Narayana Group was associated in the back drop of its image of compassionate treatment. He further assured that SMVDSB shall continue to support the Hospital in all forms in the period ahead.
Dr Gopal Sharma highlighted some significant milestones and patient-friendly initiatives taken in last six years. He said with high quality of care and affordable cost, the Hospital has touched the lives of many people of Jammu & Kashmir apart from a large number of pilgrims who availed healthcare services here during their Yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
Dr J P Singh stated as to how huge investment in creating the Hospital was provided by the Shrine Board without any consideration for return of investment. He stated that this has resulted in keeping the price of various services at an affordable level as compared to many other similarly positioned hospitals.
