BHADERWAH, Feb 9: Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler along with 120 grams of charas from Domail area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bhaderwah police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Bhaderwah police station led by SI Ravi Kumar under the supervision of ASP Bhaderwah Amit Bhasin laid a naka at Domail and intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 120 grams of charas from the possession of the accused.
The accused was arrested, who has been identified as Mohammad Aslam Sheikh, son of Akbar Sheikh of Mohalla Sarafan Bhaderwah.
A case under FIR Number 13/15 under Section 8/20 narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
