UDHAMPUR, Aug 8: Udhampur Police arrested narcotic smuggler and recovered seven grams of contraband substance heroin from his possession.
The arrested accused has been identified as Rahildeep, son of Gopal Krishan of Barrian, Udhampur.
Acting on specific information through reliable sources, a Police team comprising of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur and Chaman Gorka, SHO PS Udhampur along with Executive Magistrate First Class Udhampur, raided private premises of the accused and recovered seven grams of Heroin from the house.
Accordingly, a case FIR number 290/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Udhampur and further investigation is underway.
