JAMMU, July 4: Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered 250 grams of bhukki from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police party from Arnia Police Station laid a naka at Rathan Morh and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02U-0134.
During checking, police recovered 250 grams of bhukki and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Bupinder Singh, son of Gurbachan Singh of Rathana Camp, tehsil RS Pura.
A case under FIR number 63/13 under Section 8/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Arnia Police Station and investigation started.
