JAMMU, June 16: RS Pura police arrested a narcotics smuggler and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from RS Pura Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajeshwar Singh laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 5 to 6 grams heroin.
The arrested person has been identified as Sham Lal, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Ward Number 8, RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 93/19 under relevant sections has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
