Narcotics smuggler arrested with intoxicants

RAMBAN, Feb 10: A narcotics smuggler has been arrested along with intoxicants.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka near court complex here and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 401 intoxicating injections and 1920 tablets from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Kulbir Singh, son of Khem Raj, a resident of Duthan, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 29/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal accompanied by SI Mukhtyar Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
