Narendra Modi: Successful journey from a volunteer to a Prime Minister

With Nationalism in ideology, Mother India in worship, vision in life and harmony in thinking to make India a world leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the superstar of the century and established on the international platform today. He is called the Vishwakarma of the 21st century due to the work he has done from the organization to the government. On the date he was born, the birth anniversary of Vishwakarma is celebrated in most parts of the country. BJP has also taken the initiative to go among the people of Modiji’s birthday and fulfill his resolve. A blood donation camp will be organized in every district headquarters. Special programs will be organized on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary on 25th September and Gandhiji’s birth anniversary on 2nd October. A cleanliness campaign will be run in schools and hospitals. Door to door contact campaign will be conducted and 100 people will be enrolled. Programs will be also be organized at the national level. Painting based on developed India competitions will be organized and equipment will be distributed among handicapped players and a health camp will be set up for the elderly.
The public has more expectations from our Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to his huge influence, who gave the slogan “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”, because he has won the hearts of the people on the basis of his development-oriented work as the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born in a middle-class family in Vadnagar, Gujarat on 17th September, 1950. His full name is Narendra Damodardass Modi and his childhood was full of struggle. He completed his early education in his village and after graduation he joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and started attending shakhas regularly and later became its full time worker in 1971. From his youth he toured all the religious and spiritual places in India. From childhood itself, the charitable, philanthropic and talented Narendra Modi was always at the forefront in helping others. In the youth, he joined the students’ organization Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad and also took part in the anti-corruption movement. After working as a full-time organizer he was nominated as the organization’s representative in the Bharatiya Janata Party. While being a worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he passed his graduation in Political Science from Gujarat University in 1980. Seeing his interest in politics, Sangh sent him to work for Bharatiya Janata Party. After joining BJP, he led BJP brilliantly in the first Ahmedabad Municipal Election and BJP won the election. Considering his political thinking and organisational ability, he was made the General Secretary of the BJP in Gujarat. In 1990, he took part in the organisation of the Rath Yatra organised by Lal Krishna Advani, which was his first major achievement.
This became the first important political work of his life. In 1995, BJP won 121 seats in Gujarat, which was the first time for BJP in Gujarat, in which he played an important role. After joining BJP in 1985, he worked on many posts. In 2001, Narendra Modi was made the Chief Minister of Gujarat. As a Chief Minister, his work in Gujarat was so excellent that he held the post of Chief Minister of Gujarat for four consecutive times from 2001 to 2014. During this time, he brought many innovative laws, which benefited the people there a lot. As the Chief Minister of Gujarat, his image was that of a successful, honest and efficient ruler. Under his leadership, the Bharatiya Janata Party won the elections in Gujarat thrice. After this, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP contested the elections by declaring Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate and BJP got unprecedented support in this election due to the miraculous speech of Narendra Modi, his sharp speaking style and development-oriented thinking and for the first time BJP came to power by winning 282 seats with an absolute majority. This was a historic victory. As an MP, he contested elections from Varanasi, the cultural city of Uttar Pradesh, and Vadodara parliamentary constituency of his home state Gujarat and won both seats. Modi took many historic decisions from 2014 to 2019. He took many important decisions, which increased the love of the public for him even more and he won more seats the next time. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP once again registered a spectacular victory by securing 303 seats and the public showed how much they respect him. Narendra Modi has always worked for the welfare of the people. Under his able leadership, the BJP has created a record by winning for the third time in 2024. He got the opportunity to serve the people of Gujarat as the Chief Minister and later as the Prime Minister. He worked for the whole country, and from time to time, introduced many rules and laws. Kisan Sansthan Nidhi for farmers was the scheme that changed the face and fate of the country. Due to the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, 25 crore people came out of poverty line. Digital India Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and many other schemes have changed the condition and direction of the country. On the other hand, the Citizenship Amendment Act, removal of Article 370 and 35A from Kashmir were historic steps.
In international politics too, Narendra Modi has the stature of a world leader. Among global leaders, Narendra Modi is one of the most popular politicians in the world. Due to his working style, intelligence and ability, the name of Narendra Modi is resonating not only in India but also on the international stage. The qualities of Narendra Modi make him different from other politicians. After coming to power in 2014, the Modi government started working towards giving a new dimension to relations with other countries. Improving relations with our South Asian neighbours is at the centre of the Modi government’s foreign policy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tireless efforts have changed the world’s outlook towards India. Due to Modiji’s efforts, Yoga has received international recognition and Yoga Day is celebrated at the international level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, full of positive energy and building harmony with the entire community, has once again proved to be the most popular leader in the world.
