JAMMU, Aug 8: Accelerating developmental activities in different parts of his ward, Narotam Sharma, corporator of Ward Number 3 of Jammu Municipal Corporation on Tuesday laid the foundation of the work of main gate-cum-newly modified entrance of the ancient Lord Shiva temple at the holy cave temple of Peer-Kho.
This gate will be constructed as part of the ongoing beautification project of Peer Kho temple and with the inauguration of this gate the ancient Lord Shiva Temple will look more beautiful.
Mahant of Peer Kho, Shri Rajinder Nath Ji along with State vice president of BJP, Yudveer Sethi, district Jammu president, Pramod Kapahi, East Mandal president, Parveen Kerni graced the occasion as chief guests. Members from Ward including team in which senior leaders Kuldeep Sharma , Anuradha , Sanjay Abrol and other dignitaries were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Narotam Sharma said that this work will be executed at Rs 65 lakh. He said that with the construction of this modern gate, the temple will be more beautiful and the city of Shiva, Peer Kho will look even more beautiful.
“The phase of such constructions will continue in Ward number three so that my Ward looks beautiful and clean and this is also my resolution”, he said and expressed his gratitude to all the guests who attended the function.
