Narsingh Dev Jayanti celebrated at Ramnagar

RAMNAGAR, May 4: Bhagwan Narsingh Ji Jayanti Utsav was celebrated here with religious fervour and gaiety today.
The Akhand Paath which started yesterday concluded at 9 am today at the famous Shri Bhagwan Narsingh Dev Ji Mandir which was tastefully decorated and somuchso entire path from main road to the temple was illuminated. Hawan started at 10 am and Puranahuti at 1 pm.
A grand Shobha Yatra was taken out from Shri Narsingh Ji temple in which tableux from different parts of Jammu took part, the main Jhanki being of Bhagwan Narsingh Ji Maharaj. The people had erected gates on the route of Shobha Yatra, which passed through main bazaars of Ramnagar town. Yatra traveled upto Chigli Chouri and via Purana Bazaar returned back to the temple, where a special Arti was performed. A large number of school students and women folk participated in the Shobha Yatra.
According to Vinod Khajuria, main Pujari of the Temple, a Jagran was also organized on the occasion in which artists from Jammu and other parts took part. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Chairman Narsingh Dev Institute of Para-medical Sciences, Dr Pradeep Gupta, Additional Sessions Judge Udhampur Mr M K Sharma, representatives from Nehal Chand Des Raj, Kanak Mandi and B B Raina (Pelican Cables) etc.
