JAMMU, Feb 11: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet today approved empanelment of 26 IAS officers for holding Secretary level posts at the Centre and 14 officers for Secretary-equivalent.
They include Umang Narula, a Jammu and Kashmir cadre IAS officer of 1989 batch.
Narula is presently posted as Advisor to Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur.
The Jammu and Kashmir cadre has since been merged into AGMUT.
