Nat Manch stages comedy play ‘Murkh Raju’

JAMMU, Nov 12: Under its ongoing series, Nat Manch today presented a Dogri comedy play ‘Murkh Raju’ here at Shakti Nagar.
The play was written and directed by Tarun Sharma, young theatre personality of J&K.
The play starts with two characters; one is Nawab and the other is Raju, his servant. One day Raju searches a job in home corner. Nawab asks him what he is doing. The servant replies that he is finding any job.
Then, Nawab asks him upto which class he has studied. In a humorous manner, the servant said, “ABC chodo, naina se naina jodo”. To this Nawab gets angry, snubs him and asks him to come with a tea for him. The servant brings tea for him dipping his fingers in it. This irritates Nawab but he controls his anger and asks him to use tray while serving anything to anyone.
After some days, some relatives visit Nawab’s home. Nawab asks the servant to bring his shoes. The servant goes and brings the shoes in a tray. Thereafter, the relatives tell Nawab that his factory and all documents have burnt in a mysterious fire. Hearing this, Nawab goes in depression and the servant smile continuously.
The actors who performed in the play were Tarun Sharma, Mohit Sharma and Ankush Sharma.
