JAMMU, Jan 31: A national conference on the Advocates Protection Act was held here today. The conference was convened by the Bar Association of Supreme Court of India in which the advocates across the country participated.
B S Jamwal, advocate Supreme Court of India, Advocate Sanjeet Kumar Bavoria, Anil Kumar and Prabhakar were also invited as the speakers in the conference.
On the occasion, President, Supreme Court Bar Association Dr Adish C Aggarwal honoured the team of advocates from Jammu headed by B S Jamwal and appreciated their valuable suggestions on the said Act.
Addressing to the gathering of Advocates, BS Jamwal expressed his views on the social security, financial assistance and the challenges faced by the advocates in time of unexpected events such as natural disasters or epidemics.
Jamwal also appreciated the role of Dr Adish C Aggarwal for organising such an event in view of the increasing incidents of violence, intimidation on legal practitioners.
