SRINAGAR, Nov 26: The Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board today took a lead in implementation of New Education Policy in its educational institutions.
A meeting of educational heads of Waqf Institutions, guest experts and a large number of local prominent persons, national and international level publishers and educational technology providers, was held at Srinagar under the headship of Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi in which discussion about the requirements in educational institutions as per the New National Education Policy and it’s implementation in Waqf institutions was held threadbare. The meeting was first of it’s kind in Jammu & Kashmir where a creative discourse on varied aspects of NEP was held.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Andrabi said that we are committed to transform every department of Waqf and educational streamlining and up-gradation was our priority. “The meeting of this nature has opened gateways of innovative initiatives to be taken. Educational sector is our priority. Soon we will complete the NEP implementation document of Waqf and we hope to take a lead in this initiative”, Dr Andrabi said.
The publishers, technology providers and experts thanked J&K Waqf Board for taking the lead in implementation of new National Education Policy (NEP- 2020) in Waqf Schools for competing with the students from various parts of the country.
