JAMMU, July 14: National Plastic Surgery Day was celebrated today in Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar and Amandeep Multi Specialty OPD Clinic, Jammu simultaneously from 10 AM to 2 PM under the dynamic leadership of Dr Ravi Mahajan, Chief Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, Amandeep Hospital.
Dr Mahajan said that to commemorate this occasion and as a part of gesture, free consultation will be provided to new Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Patients and concessional surgeries will be offered to registered patients.
He added that there is common myth among people that plastic surgery is just used for beautification of face and other body parts, whereas it is just a part of plastic surgery. There are so many other aspects of plastic surgery. It is playing a vital role in treating badly crushed body parts in accident, by birth deformity treatment and in increasing the self confidence of patients.
