JAMMU, Dec 10: Two- day national symposium on dentistry began here today, wherein lifetime achievement awards were bestowed on pioneers of dentistry in J&K, Dr K S Kotwal, Dr Som Dutt Gupta and Dr Gautam Mengi.
Dr Gautam Sharma, president, Indian Dental Association (IDA), Jammu, said that all the three speakers of this symposium are delivering the lectures worldwide.
Dr Mahesh Chouhan, who lectured today at the event, has lectured and published extensively at national and international level in Oral Implantology, Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry.
Dr Nipun Gupta, chairman of symposium committee, Dr Rajeev Mengi, president elect IDA, chairman of IDS, Sehora, Dr R K Suri, IDA executive body members, Dr Umang Jamwal, Dr Vibha Raina, Dr Sahul Lehra, Dr Sarang, Dr Vasit Khajuria, Dr Kunal Vuthoo, Dr Nidhi Khajuria, Dr Bhanu Kotwal, Dr Himja Mengi, Dr Anyush Sharma, Dr Niharika, Dr Adeel, Dr. Anshu Gupta and Dr Chetna Kharyal were present on the occasion.
