The naked dance of anti-nationalism enacted in Jawahar Lal Nehru University and Jadavpur University by the combined forces of Jehadists, Moists, and separatists supported and abetted by champions of freedom of expression, pseudo secularists and rabidly anti-Modi gangs is an eye opener and extremely challenging and worrisome. Some political leaders, media persons and so called intellectuals are over busy in concocting stories on order to side track and camouflage the real issue in order to save these anti-national thugs from the wrath of the law and Indian masses.
The real issue and controversy is not with regard to freedom of expression or even Afzal Guru. Freedom of expression enshrined in constitution is sacrosanct and inviolable. Courts and human rights commissions are there to safeguard this right in letter and spirit. People have fundamental right to have different opinions, criticize Government actions and policies and even express disagreement with judicial pronouncements.
The real issues which have enraged entire nation and sent shockwaves in the country are the slogans like:- ” Bharat tare tukre hone tak, jang jari rahe gi” Bharat tare tukre honge inshalla inshalla” India go back” Kashmir mage azadi” Nagaland mange azadi” etc.
These slogans have not been raised casually or inadvertently but are raised by hardened and highly indoctrinated so called students with full zeal and conviction. Nation can ignore these people only in its peril. Remember, a terrorist takes up arms and starts killing and getting killed when he is fully indoctrinated and is mentally convinced of the justification and truth fullness of his cause. Taking up of arms is a natural corollary to indoctrination so the best policy is to nip the evil in the bud and not to wait for their taking up of arms.
If the constitution guarantees freedom of expression, the same constitution also defines the national boundaries and challenging territorial integrity and working against it is out and out anti constitutional. These so called students have not only challenged the territorial integrity but have also violated the tenants of constitution. These slogan are not only seditious but also are the foot prints of coming terrorism.
Vehement support for these elements from likes of Yachuries, Karats and Rajas is understandable because they sided with British Imperialism during “Quit India Movement” they fought Indian army along with Razakars of Nawab’s of Hyderabad and openly supported Chinese during 1962 conflict and had to suffer imprisonment and so on. Nitishs, Mamtas, Kejiris etc condone and timidly support these elements because they feel their political interest is preferable to national interest otherwise they fully know that these seditious slogans do not form any part of freedom of speech. Indian National Congress post 1947 is guided by Nehruvian ideas and ideology. This philosophy essentially consists of Hindu bashing, divide and rule, de-rooting of Indians from their ancient civilizational and cultural values and ethos.
So support of congress party to these anti-patriotic forces is not accidental but it emanates from their world view and thought process. Expecting something different from congress is a wishful thinking. Add to this the recent loss of power in centre and states.
Rahul Gandhi cries that RSS is out to impose its ideology on students. Let RSS and BJP proudly and loudly proclaim that yes ideology of safeguarding the territorial integrity of India, ideology of nation first and foremost and ideology of regarding Bharat as mother will be imposed not only in educational institutions but throughout the length and breadth of India. People of India are enraged to no end. Tolerance has a limit and if stretched beyond a line it will leads us to inaction and surrender . Let us channelise people for last ditched battle of ideas for the last time in history. Justice, truth and blessings of Mother India are on our side. Let us not fear or shirk, victory will be surely ours.
