JAMMU, Dec 17: The BJP candidate from Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta today said that the nationalist forces of the State have always been neglected by the NC, Cong and PDP combinations.
“The Jammu region has been the worst victim of discrimination at the hands of the successive Governments in the past. The discrimination with the Jammu region in the field of education, employment, development and political empowerment has been the main reason for the backwardness of the region”, he said, adding now the younger generation has woken up to change their future and I take this responsibility to change the fate and future of the youth of the region.
Gupta said, “My priority will be on the transformation of the Jammu East constituency into a model and modern heritage constituency. That is why I have been focusing on a number of projects for the constituency including the Gondola project”.
Conducting door-to-door campaign in various parts of the constituency, Gupta appealed voters to vote in his favour to change the destiny of the Jammu region.
Meanwhile, an enthusiastic group of youth organized ‘Nukkad Natak’ on the occasion highlighting the achievements of the Modi Government. They also in their own style described the BJP Government’s policies and programmes for the welfare of the people through their Natak narratives.
