Natrang artists shine in movies

JAMMU, May 16: Three female artists  of Natrang are featuring as lead players in mega movies of ‘Saavdhaan India’ on Life Ok channel. They are Anjali Abrol, Tajasvi Sharma and Maansi Sharma. Anjali Bbrol featured in last Sunday’s Mega Movie of Saavdhaan India and Tajasvi Sharma and Maansi Sharma will feature in the Mega Movies of Saavdhaan India on May 17 and 24, 2015 respectively. The scheduled telecast time of the serial will be 4 pm on these dates.
Interestingly all three brilliant artists are the products of Natrang’s internationally acclaimed Dogri play ‘Ghumayee’ written and directed by Balwant Thakur and incidentally all played as ‘Dulhan’ in the same play. All three are currently based in Mumbai and are establishing themselves as accomplished artists of films and television.
Anjali Abrol started her career in Natrang from the play Ghumayee and later participated in the plays ‘Bawa Jitto’, ‘Kanjoos’, ‘Natak Nahi’, and ‘Aaj Ki Aurat’. After moving to Mumbai she was featured in ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat’, ‘Nach Baliye’ ‘Chhajje Chhajje Ka Payaar’, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’, ‘The adventures of Hatim’ and ‘Bindaas Hala Bol’.
Tajasvi Sharma also started her career in Natrang from the play ‘Sainyan Bhaye Kotwal’ and later participated in over fifty plays, including ‘Ghumayee’, ‘Bawa jitto’, ‘An Inspector Calls’, ‘Choona Hai Aasmaan’, ‘Nadi payasi Thi’, ‘Damaad’, ‘Suno Tagore Di’ ‘Bhanwar Dar Bhanwar’ ‘Pentrebaaz’, and ‘Kahani Hamari’. After moving to Mumbai she featured in ‘Fakkru’, ‘Halla Bol’,  and ‘Bhanwar’.
Maansi Sharma started her career in Natrang from the play Ghumayee and later participated in ‘Lekhak’, ‘Doctor Palta’, ‘Natak Nahi’, and ‘Bawa Jitto’. After moving to Mumbai, Maansi Sharma featured  in serials ‘Mahabharat’, ‘Uttaran’, and ‘Pavitra Rishta’. She also featured in commercial like Lacto Calamine, Dell Laptop, Central Bank, Tktan Eye, Mahindra Maxo A+, Carrier AC, Toyota Innova Car., Pureit Purifier, Zeeq, and in Idea IIN Haryana etc.
Complimenting them Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said that these proud products of Natrang have brought laurels for Natrang and hoped that their success will inspire many to scale new heights and establish their name in the field of television and films.
