In the play Manto finds himself in a situation where he meets a stranger at sea-shore. He finds that person broken from within because of some deep emotional trauma. This statement touches the heart of the stranger and one day when Manto invites that person (Naeem) to his house, he narrates a very tragic love story in which he was hero who started loving a girl Jora. They ran away, got married, started living happily but Jora suddenly died because of a disease, leaving Naeem shattered. This story touched heart of Manto. One day Manto received a letter from Naeem where it was mentioned that the story about Jora was fabricated to prove that he is not incapable of love but soon after the creation of that story he started feeling ‘Jora’ around him and now he is going to end his life in her quest. This turns writer sad and emotional.
The artists who performed in the play were Bipan Gupta, Goutam Sharma, Gautam Kumar, Ashley Mehta and Shashank Singh Charak.
