‘Natrang’ stages play ‘Coffee House Wali Ladki’

JAMMU, Aug 25: Theatre group ‘Natrang’ here today staged Hindi play ‘Coffee House Wali Ladki’ written by Dr. Satya Parkash Sangar and directed by Neeraj Kant.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion were Angel Kotwal, Sanjeev Luthra, Rajeev Luthra and Vinod Padha.
In play ‘Coffee House Wali Ladki’, a lad is shown as flirtatious person who makes friendship with girls, spends money on them and makes false promises.
As he belongs to a very rich and influential family he did not face any problem till time a girl, knowing his real intentions, decides to teach him a lesson. She meets him at a ‘Coffee House’ and sets a trap to make him confess his habitual mistakes.
She very cleverly invites him to meet her in her hostel, where the principal, warden and security were already informed about his visit.
When he arrives and flamboyantly declares the reason for his visit, he was exposed before everyone and was threatened to be publically humiliated, moreover his family and the principal of his college were also informed about this.
Caught and scared, he expressed repentance for his lies and deceits and pledges to be truthful and respectful towards the girls in future.
Actors who performed in the play were Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Kananpreet Kaur, Kushal Bhat, Aadesh Dhar, Vrinda Gujral, Lalita Sharma and Palshin Dutta.
Lights were designed and executed by Neeraj Kant, music was rendered by Vishal Sharma and the show was coordinated by Mohd. Yaseen while the presentations were done by Mihir Gujral.
