JAMMU, Sept 5: National Awami United Party (NAUP) here today announced its candidates for three seats of Legislative Assembly (LA) after the recent announcement of elections.
NAUP president, Sandeep Manhas declared that Shikha Bandral will contest from Jammu West, Mohit Dalhotra from Jammu North and Pinki Devi from Samba constituency.
Manhas emphasized the NAUP was committed to to the underprivileged and marginalized sections of the society.
He said, “NAUP is the party of poor and oppressed. Our main ideology is to empower the underrepresented, giving them a platform to step into politics and claim the rights that have longly been denied to the poor by other parties.”
He expressed confidence in the candidates announced by NAUP and said that their selection was done keeping in view their dedication to serve the people.
“NAUP is calling for a new era in politics where the focus is on inclusivity, opportunity and fairness for all, regardless of socio-economic background,” Manhas continued.
