NAUP appeals PM to give proper reservation to women

JAMMU, Nov 7: National Awami United Party (NAUP) President Sandeep Singh has appealed to the Prime Minister to give proper reservation to women so that they can play a vital role as law makers.
He said this during a joining programme of new leaders in the women wing of NAUP District Samba.
He urged the leaders to focus on issues of the youth in Jammu and Kashmir and also assured that NAUP will give reservation to the women, who will contest the assembly or parliament elections.
General Secretary NAUP Manmohan Sudan appointed Pinky Bhagat as Youth President District Samba (Women Wing). Some persons also joined the party on the occasion and took oath to strengthen the party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pinky Bhagat also appealed to the LG administration to promote education and open libraries at tehsil level so that every deserving student can avail the facility for competitive exams.
Among others present were Shikha Bandral Thakur, Sushma Kumari, Indu Chopra, Jyoti Nayyar, Parveen Kumar, etc.
