NAUP demands Statehood restoration to J&K

JAMMU, Nov 19: National Awami United Party (NAUP) has demanded immediate restoration of Statehood to J&K.
In a press conference here today NAUP president, Sandeep Singh Manhas flayed leaders in J&K who solely advocate for separate Jammu.
He said that Maharaja Hari Singh aimed to expand boundaries of the region, which included territories of present day Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
Manhas emphasized that Maharaja Hari Singh’s vision encompassed not only Jammu but also the entire region including PoJK.
He appealed PM Modi for prompt inclusion PoJK in the State of J&K.
“NAUP believes that this comprehensive approach aligns with historical aspirations of the region and will contribute to a more unified and prosperous future,” Manhas maintained adding: “NAUP is committed to advocate for the interests of J&K people.”
He assured continued efforts towards fostering unity and development in the region.
Shakti Uppal, state secretary and Rohit Kumar, city president were also present in the press conference.
