JAMMU, Oct 8: National Awami United Party (NAUP) has flayed the Union Government for increasing unemployment in J&K in the absence of any employment policy for the youth.
In a meeting, NAUP provincial president, Uttam Chand said that Jammu has not received any real benefit after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A.
He said that meaningful gains should be transferred to Jammuites as the jobs and resources cannot be given away to outsiders without any real benefits to the people of Jammu.
“Political accountability is urgently required in J&K otherwise bureaucracy will remain uncontrollable,” Chand maintained adding that Legislative Assembly is need of the hour and this situation of uncertainty cannot go for long.
Prominent leaders present on the occasion were Rajesh Gandotra, provincial general secretary; Naterpal, district president and others.
