JAMMU, Feb 17: Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School held Annual Prize Distribution function.
On the occasion, Retd SP Sardar Khan, President School Management Committee was the chief guest, while Director Gandharb Singh Katal presided over the function. The function commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by Saraswati Vandana.
The welcome address and annual report highlighting the achievements of the school in the current academic session was also present by the Principal.
Primary students showcased their talent by performing on the various themes. Students exhibited their hidden talent and emotions through dance items. The laudable contemporary dance was dedicated to the women empowerment. Bhangra showcasing the flavour of Punjab was a thrilling visual treat. A play on the theme Road Safety gave the message of the Do’s & Don’ts of driving.
It was followed by much awaited prize distribution ceremony wherein the chief guest bestowed the prizes to the most deserving students and motivated all to keep working hard with sincere endeavours. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Gandharb Singh Katal.
The proceedings of the program were carried out by Ritesh and Jahanavi.
Among others present were Guru Dutt Sharma, Trilok Nath Gupta, Dr Sham Lal Padha, Charanjeet Singh and Shamsher Singh.
