JAMMU, Apr 19: The Navratra festival organized by Swami Paul’s Meditation Home, Jammu concluded with ‘Purnahuti’ of Maha Gayatri Yagna on Maha Navmi, here today.
During the festival of nine days, apart from Gayatri Yagnas, the Dhyan sessions with Kirtan and devotional singing and discourses by the spiritual head of Meditation Home, Swami Paul Ji were organized. A large number of devotees from various parts of the State participated in the festival.
Through his discourses, Swami Ji explained that Sri Rama has placed before the inner eyes of the people of the world a highly glorified and dignified conception of humanity.
“Sri Rama – the soul of the universe is revealing himself in all the existences of the universe. He is the soul in every human body. One has only to look at his life if one wants to see the very essence of Dharma”, Swami Ji said.
Swami Ji also said that modern Hinduism has discovered the underlying unity of all saints and messengers of God at different parts of the world with the message that all religious paths lead to the same spiritual goal, the realization of union with the supreme.
Sri Rama appears to represent the most perfect and complete embodiment of the highest conception of human personality identified with the highest conception of divine personality. In him the ideas of God and man are perfectly unified. He not only shows how we should put ourselves right with our fellow men but also that our love for them should be pure and absolutely free from dark, hidden motives”, he further said.
