KATHUA, Apr 20: A navy official was killed while one another was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a vegetable loaded vehicle at Manu area on Billawar road.
The deceased has been identified as Rahul Singh (Navy official), son of Tirth Singh, a resident of Dewal, Billawar, while the injured was identified as Amar Singh, son of Bikram Singh, a resident of Krishanpur, Billawar.
The injured was rushed to hospital at Mahanpur and later referred to GMC Kathua for advanced treatment.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Mahanpur Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
