NC candidate for making Gandhi Nagar a model constituency

JAMMU, Dec 10:  National Conference (NC) candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Surinder Singh Bunty today said that if given chance he will endeavour to provide a platform to the youth for improving their educational skills besides generating ample employment avenues.
He was addressing a series of public meetings at Upper Bathini and Dungia localities of his constituency. He said that National Conference is bound to ensure skill based education, generate suitable job avenues besides all-round development of the State. Surinder vowed to make Gandhi Nagar constituency as a model constituency by making available all the basic amenities
“Gaining political benefits by dividing people on regional, communal or linguistic lines is not the agenda of NC rather it believes in pursuing to maintain pluralistic ethos of J&K State which has a glorious past of patronizing people belonging to diverse tribes, ethnicities, religions and faiths”, he said adding that come what may, NC will strive to maintain the slogan of ‘Unity among Diversity’.
Earlier, during door to door campaigning at Gangyal Model Town and Digiana localities, Surinder Singh Bunty interacted with large number of voters and highlighted the programmes and policies of National Conference. Describing Gandhi Nagar constituency as a mix of rural and urban population, he said that people belonging to these two segments of this constituency have diverse aspirations and issues. He stressed on making a roadmap for Gandhi Nagar constituency fulfilling the objectives of people belonging to rural as well as urban belts.
Surinder said that being young and educated, he understands the problems being faced by the people and assured that he will put in his sincere efforts to address the issues they are confronting.
Prominent NC leaders and enthusiasts who  accompanied Surinder during today’s extensive campaigning, included Ghani Teli, Choudhary Akhtar, Riaz Choudhary, Imran Ghoni, Aman Chima, Pankaj Khajuria and Rajinder Singh Raju.
