JAMMU, Nov 26: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president and Member Parliament (MP) Mehbooba Mufti today alleged that NC and Congress coalition Government looted the State for six years and now they have entered in verbal dual.
She said this while addressing series of public gatherings in South Kashmir’s Pulwama constituency.
“NC and Congress together have looted the State even the relief money and material was also consumed by these parties”, she said, adding that Congress did not see the past of candidates while announcing mandate and this time too they have chosen persons involved in corruption and sex scandal.
“Rahul Gandhi you have given mandate to four Ministers involved in various corruption cases whom you dropped from Ministerial portfolio earlier”, alleged Mehbooba.
She further said that Congress did nothing although both Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah were involved in various cases.
“Congress did not take action against the corruption cases of Farooq Abdullah when he was involved in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association scam and Haji Yousuf case against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that is pending in Supreme Court”, she alleged.
She further said that the parties which seem to have parted have damaged the image of the State and promoted corruption.
Mehbooba said that this time they would win 41 seats and nobody can stop them from making the Government in Jammu and Kashmir and PDP would become sign of prosperity and peace.
