NC, Cong playing dirty politics on AIIMS issue: Vibodh

JAMMU, Aug 3: Terming Congress-NC as power hungry, MLC and State vice president of Bhartiya Janta Party, Advocate Vibodh Gupta today alleged that both these parties were politicizing AIIMS issue in Jammu region and conspiring to deteriorate situation by playing dirty politics.
Addressing workers at Lower Gadigarh Jammu, Vibodh Gupta said that Central Government has solved the issue of AIIMS and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has taken wise decision of providing health facilities in both AIIMS at Jammu & Srinagar. “There will be separate Director for AIIMS Jammu and AIIMS Srinagar besides Rs 1500 crores funds are being meant for AIIMS of Jammu as well Srinagar,” he said and added that both institutions are being given separate land and independent faculty besides there will be separate budget and staff for both.
Gupta said that the wise decision of the BJP Government is not being digested by Congress and National Conference and both these parties are hatching conspiracy to play dirty politics of the issue. “These parties are indulged in spreading rumors only because they have no issue to corner Government while Congress and NC are also in a state of shock because of being out of power,” he added.
Claiming that BJP Government has given AIIMS, IIT, IIM and National Highway like facilities to Jammu region in one year, Vibodh Gupta appealed people not to give heed to the rumors being spread by Congress and National Conference parties.
Prominent among others, who spoke on the occasion, included Ashok Khajuria,Vikas Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Pitamber Sharma and Bharat Sharma.
Meanwhile, BJP OBC Cell Convener Brahmjyot has also alleged that the ongoing agitation of AIIMS was self profiting agenda of some political parties, which want to gain politically from this issue.
Union Health Minister J P Nadda has already declared AIIMS for Jammu and these non-BJP parties are misleading people for their own benefit and creating a situation in which common man is suffering, he said and added that ongoing Bandh has inflicted huge losses to traders besides creating problems for the Amarnath pilgrims. Appealing people to not fall in the trap of those who were misleading them, Brahmjyot assured that the intersts of Jammu were on the top priority for the BJP and its leadership.
