JAMMU, Mar 30: In a whirlwind joint campaigning, National Conference and Congress leaders on Sunday lashed out at BJP for loud speak, saying the aura generated by the facist forces is bound to get tore apart during the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing several election meetings here today, the leaders said the euphoria generated by exploiting sentiments of the people is detrimental to the overall interests, especially the communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
“BJP has not understood the idea of Jammu and Kashmir”, the alliance candidate for Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Madan Lal Sharma said while decrying the dubious tactics being employed to hoodwink public opinion. He referred to the bogies being created by the saffron brigade and said this has neither worked in the past nor will create any magic for BJP in future.
The joint election meetings were held at Bhagwati Nagar, Om Nagar, Patoli Raipur Domana, which were attended by larger number of people.
Another senior party leader Minister for PHE and Irrigation, Sham Lal Sharma said the politics of deceit and hate has caused enormous damage to secular fabric and unless checked this demon will vitiate the harmony and peaceful atmosphere.

Minister for Planning and Development Ajay Kumar Sadhotra castigated BJP for indulging in rhetoric and playing unethical politics by schemeing against the overall interests of people.
In this context, Mr Sadhotra pointed out the unholy BJP-PDP alliance, which he described as an arrangement of convenience to divide the secular votes. He referred to election momentum in the two Jammu parliamentary constituencies, going to polls in the first phase and predicted a big win for Ghulam Nabi Azad in Udhampur and Madan Lal Sharma in Jammu. “This will be shinning triumph of the grand alliance for the six seats across the State”, he added.
The Provincial President described BJP’s renewed strategy as a mischievous effort to create confusion and hoodwink public opinion. “It has never pursued politics based on principles, which is discernible by its open alignment with PDP”. The duo has left to occasion to inflict scars on public sensitivity by raking up frivolous and emotive issues to polarise the situation, he said adding this strategy has a history dating back to inception of the PDP.
“When confronted with these harsh facts, the PDP assumes frontal role, not only to brazenly defend BJP’s anti-people activities, but also provide a cover to their nefarious activities since 2008. He, however, cautioned the two parties not to undermine wisdom of the people, who are sagacious enough to read between the lines. He said BJP-PDPs machinations got hugely exposed during the Council elections in 2011, which witnessed dismemberment of its 11 legislators.
