NC, Congress create pandemonium in LA, stage walkout

JAMMU: Opposition members from National Conference and Congress on Wednesday created pandemonium in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and later staged walkout after Speaker Kavinder Gupta disallowed the adjournment motion moved by the members seeking discussion on human rights violation in the Kashmir valley.
The second day of the J&K Legislative Assembly witnessed pandemonium and uproar as opposition demanded suspension of the normal business to discuss violation of human right issue.
As Speaker Kavinder Gupta disallowed Adjournment Motion opposition members created uproar and stormed into the Well. Later opposition staged walkout, accusing government of stifling dissent voices.
The National Conference and MLA Langate Engineer Rashid moved adjournment motion on Human Right Violation, MLA Kulgam on power crisis, Congress on law and order problem.
The opposition members stormed into the well of the House and created ruckus.
NC MLA Mohammad Altaf Kallu also tore papers in the Well while the members disrupted the business amid shouts.
Later they staged walkout of the House. (AGENCIES)
